Creativity is not something that's personal.
Every living mind can become appreciably creative and its pretty easy to sow the seed of creativity in one's mind. So don't divert your energy just because you think you ain't creative enough.
Every designer get an idea from some inspirational thought or object. No designer develops a design out of thin air. We must seek for what inspires us the most. And by seeking doesn't mean search worldwide to know what inspires you. To be honest, we get creative as we keep doing a same thing over and over again. If you are given with the same job multiple times, you try to do it in different ways mostly to simplify the procedure so that minimum amount of work is to be done each time. This is done by your mind knowingly or unknowingly. As a matter of fact, even wheels were discovered as part of easing up the stress to move heavier objects. So now we might be thinking how humans got this idea of creating a round wheel. Nature, as we know, is the best source of inspiration. We can generate so many thoughts that can lead us to creative thinking.
To begin with, one must find an objective on which the designing should be done. Here, creativity generates as the objective attracts lots of constraints. C'mon, whats the beauty of creating something if no constraints are applicable which indirectly means you can design on ground zero with no limitations. That is far from reality. Constraints in designing defines the design into more approachable thoughts. Let it be in Graphic designing, architecture or even experimenting to find a cure.
